A New Year and a New Way to Plan
If you just got engaged, your first instinct might be to grab a massive checklist. January is a big month for planning, but it is also very easy to get overwhelmed by all the options and spreadsheets. My advice is to take a breath and step back from the logistics for a moment. Think about the "why" behind your day and how you want it to feel. In my 30 years as a performer and 15 as a stylist, I have learned that the best experiences are not just organized. They are directed with a clear vision.
Starting with the Vision
I always start with a mood board. It is a way for us to see the big picture before we get into the details. My job is to help you filter through all the options and choose what actually fits your style and your venue. By narrowing our focus early on, we make sure that the final look is intentional and cohesive. It makes every decision you have to make later feel much simpler.
A calm morning
The hours before your wedding are a very personal time. My goal is to create a space where you can just breathe and take it all in. When I am styling your hair, I am considering the humidity and the breeze. I want to make sure your look stays exactly how you want it through every hug and every photograph. My team and I are there to handle these technical details and keep the energy light.
We want you to sit back, look at the view, and focus on the excitement of the day ahead.
Beauty in Motion
Finally, I believe that your bridal style should move with you. Because of my background in performance and music, I know that hair and makeup should never feel like a mask or something that holds you back. It should feel alive and effortless. When we get the direction right, you are free to dance, walk through an olive grove, and simply enjoy being yourself. You should be able to live in your masterpiece, not just pose for it.
